On April 28, 2004, London will be celebrating Kids First Day - a day to celebrate all of the great things happening in London for our children and families. More than 60 locations throughout London will host free Kids First Day events and activities. Over 30 partners are working together to highlight all of the great things happening in London, and to show that all sectors of our city are committed to creating opportunities for families.

Investing in Children itself is planning three major events that will occur that day to kick-off this first time event.

What's happening on Kids First Day?

The 2004 Snapshot of London's Children and Youth is now ready for release. Through statistics, maps and other research, the Snapshot shows us what life is like for a child growing up in London today.

The 2004 Snapshot will be launched on at a special breakfast event at the Covent Garden Market on Kids First Day (April 28, 2004 at 7:30 am). If you would like to attend the Snapshot launch, please contact Sherry Brake at 433-8996 ext. 232

It's that time of year again! Fun at the Frog is back! On June 16, 2004, Investing in Children will be hosting our second annual summer celebration at the Barking Frog. A $50 ticket includes food, drink, music, a silent auction, and a $25 tax receipt. All proceeds will support our neighbourhood arts projects. For tickets, please contact Heather Cousins at 433-8996 ext. 224.
